Local Programs
At Caribbean North, we believe in providing aid not only to our community back in Guyana but also to our new, growing community of Richmond Hill. In recent years, we’ve branched out and created a few local initiatives to assist the citizens of Richmond Hill and beyond.

Cross-Cultural Seniors Club
This Seniors Club at Caribbean North Charities Foundation is a vibrant community initiative dedicated to bringing together seniors from the diverse cultural backgrounds of Richmond Hill and beyond.

Community Donations
We believe in the power of community coming together to make a difference. Through collective efforts, we’ve been able to provide essential items and resources to local families, ensuring that our community feels cared for and supported.

Information Sessions
At Caribbean North, we believe it is important to keep our vulnerable populations informed and empowered by expanding their knowledge on important topics. These sessions cover critical issues such as abuse, identifying scams and frauds, especially those targeting seniors, and understanding their rights and resources.
Burn Care Programs
Caribbean North Charities Foundation was created to provide burn care assistance to hospitals in Guyana and the Caribbean. Over the years we’ve started various programs to help not only burn care patients but also neonatal and maternity patients. We also provide assistance and training for nursing programs.
Equipment Donations
We partner with local hospitals to recycle and repurpose medical equipment. through joint efforts, we collect and donate this equipment to underserved hospitals in smaller countries and communities, where it is desperately needed.
Community Work
Since 2010, we’ve been working to improve the lives of children and disabled individuals in Guyana. Our partnership with the Tina Insanally Foundation has been instrumental in this effort, and we’ve also collaborated with Rotary in Georgetown. Key initiatives include the 2010 donation of a wheelchair bus to the Cheshire Home, a long-term care facility for disabled children and adults, and a donation of a library of books.
Nursing Education
We have partnered with hospitals and independent doctors to provide comprehensive nursing training and workshops. These initiatives focus on enhancing skills in maternal and neonatal care, psychological and trauma support, infection control, and patient assessment. Through these collaborative efforts, we aim to elevate the quality of healthcare services and ensure better outcomes for patients in these critical areas.
